Mallarani, Pyuthan Unveils Thrilling Zipline Attraction

A zipline attraction has been established in Mallarani, Pyuthan district, to draw adventure-seeking tourists and enhance the site's tourism potential. According to the company's Chairman, Iman Singh Bharati, Mallarani Tourism Investment Company invested Rs 10 million to develop the zipline infrastructure. Residents have also organized food festivals and various promotional activities.

The zipline was constructed within the Dhairechaur and Paleban community forests at ward number 4 of the rural municipality as part of an eco-tourism development initiative. Spanning 650 meters in total, the zipline facility is anticipated to boost visitor numbers, as it can accommodate over 200 individuals per day.

Located approximately two kilometers from Pyuthan's district headquarters, Mallarani offers excellent eco-tourism opportunities and stunning views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Machhapuchhre among others. To attract more domestic tourists, Mallarani Rural Municipality is considering the construction of a children's park and has already trialed paragliding at the location, though this venture was short-lived.

According to residents, the area sees a considerable influx of domestic tourists during New Year celebrations, Fagu Purnima, rhododendron blooming season, and other holiday periods.
