WorldLink Communications, a leading internet service provider, has been honored with the prestigious Digital Transformation Award. The award was presented by the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (AOCIO) during a special ceremony in Seoul, South Korea on the 14th of November, 2023.

Mr. Brain Shen, President of AOCIO, handed over the esteemed award to Mr. Laxman Yadav, the Director of WorldLink Communications, in recognition of their efforts in contributing to the digital transformation of Nepal. Currently, Mr. Nawaraj Kunwar from Nepal represents the CAN Federation as one of its Vice-Chairmen.

The reason for this honor bestowed upon WorldLink Communications is their commitment to making the internet accessible to remote regions of Nepal, including Karnali. This annual award is given to outstanding service providers from each member country.

In 2018, WorldLink also received the Association's International Outstanding User Organization Award.

Founded in 1995 during the infancy of the internet in Nepal, WorldLink Communications aimed at bridging the digital divide and is now the largest ISP in Nepal. They have provided connectivity tools for educational institutions, businesses, and the general public alike, reaching even extremely difficult and remote locations that lack internet access.
