A statement released by the Ministry mentioned that discussions revolved around the regional and national importance of agriculture, its present status, implementing Chait Dhanbali promotion programs, chemical fertilizer management, sales distribution, making it easily accessible, and exploring ways to utilize barren land.
The provincial Ministry of Agriculture focused on issues such as stray animal control, wildlife management, handling livestock diseases, pest control measures, and vaccination against potential epidemics.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development discussed ensuring consistency in minimum support pricing collection, calculating production costs for agricultural and livestock insurance schemes, and collating agricultural statistics while also paving the way toward a coordinated approach between federal, provincial, and local tiers.
