Dr. Om Murti Anil, a distinguished Nepalese cardiologist, recently set a Guinness World Record for the highest number of views on his cardio-health awareness live stream. On Friday, he expressed his intentions to broaden the scope of awareness both domestically and internationally. At the age of 44, Dr. Anil hosted a live program on heart health prevention via his Facebook page on World Heart Day, which occurred on September 29. The 30-minute presentation garnered an astounding 11,212 viewers, leading to him being recognized by Guinness World Record for the "Most viewers for a cardiovascular health awareness live stream on Facebook." He formally received the certificate this week.

The engaging presentation revolved around the topic of "Diagnosis of Hypertension" and attracted a worldwide audience, peaking at 11,212 live viewers, according to a Guinness World Records statement. The record attempt signifies a personal achievement for Dr. Om Murti, a qualified cardiologist from Nepal who possesses an extensive social media following and is dedicated to raising cardiovascular health awareness.

Dr. Anil earned his Doctorate in Medicine in Cardiology in 2011 from the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He shared with reporters during a press conference that he plans to extend awareness efforts both within and outside of Nepal by organizing free heart camps in areas where proper health facilities are limited and promoting education against heart disease.

Additionally, Dr. Anil intends to prioritize school health programs as a means of encouraging the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits from a young age. He seeks collaboration with various organizations, both governmental and non-governmental, to address heart disease prevention more efficiently and extensively.

As the founder and chairman of the National Cardiac Centre in Nepal, Dr. Anil has previously conducted similar awareness campaigns on Facebook over the years. Upon reflecting on his recent achievements, he stated: "I realized this achievement only in a decade."
