In recent months, South Korea has asked for about 16,000 Nepali workers, 15,848 to be exact, for their manufacturing industries. In response to this demand, the EPS Korea branch of the Department of Foreign Employment announced on Tuesday that the application process has already been started and online applications will be opened from December 18 to December 22.

For an applicant to qualify, he/she should be aged between 18-39 years without any criminal record(s). One should also note that applicants who have already applied for the EPS exam in 2023 are not allowed to submit their applications for this again this year.

The language examination will be conducted on February 5, 2024. A participant should pay $28, equivalent to 3375 Nepalese Rupees as of today. This equivalent Nepalese Rupee amount may change as per the exchange rate between Nepal Rupees and US Dollars on the date of filling up the form.

After the exam, the successful candidates passing the exam will be put on a list that may be considered in a job selection process.
