Tomorrow, Nepal and UAE will face each other in the final of the Tri-Nation T20I series 2023-24 at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Kathmandu. The round-robin group round had six matches in all, where Nepal topped with 8 points, courtesy of its 4 wins out of 4 games. Both UAE and Hong Kong, which is the third team, could win only one of their 4 matches ending with 2 points. But UAE secured the final spot with the better run rate. The UAE's run rate was -0.879 while Hong Kong's was -1.102. The six group matches were played in Mulpani Cricket Ground, Mulpani, Kathmandu.
In the final match, Nepal will start as a favorite due to its current run of form, the way they played and easily beat both UAE and Hong Kong in the tournament, and the home advantage they have. UAE on the other hand would like to look beyond the earlier matches and try to give their best in the final.
