Ratna Chuli, sometimes referred to as Jomo Tseringma, is a majestic mountain peak nestled in the Peri range of the great Himalayas. This towering summit can be found in Nepal's Manang district, within the Gandaki Pradesh province. The first successful ascent of this magnificent peak took place on October 14, 1996. For Nepalese climbers, fees range from NRs 6000 during spring; NRs 3000 in autumn; and finally NRs 1500 throughout winter or summer seasons. Foreign climbers should anticipate paying USD 500 in spring, USD 250 in autumn, and a reduced fee of USD 125 during winter or summer.
To embark on your quest towards Ratna Chuli, drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and follow the caravan route through Besisahar-Dharapani-Koto-Meta-Fhugaon until you reach the basecamp. This caravan route spans a total of 97.1 kilometers, while the subsequent climbing route covers an additional 6.6 kilometers. Be prepared for an exhilarating journey as your total expedition duration will likely last around 40 days.
