Our recommendation for those planning to trek to Makalu Base Camp includes important do's and don'ts that will help you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Please keep in mind the following:

Do's:

Acclimatize slowly to the altitude: The altitude ranges from 500m to 5000m. It is important to take enough time to acclimatize and adjust to the altitude to avoid altitude sickness.
