Mosquito

Mosquitoes are common in Nepal, particularly in the monsoon season when there is a lot of standing water. Mosquitoes can carry diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and chikungunya. It's important to take precautions to avoid getting bitten. To prevent mosquito bites, wear long-sleeved shirts and pants, and use insect repellent on exposed skin.

You can also use mosquito nets while sleeping, especially in areas with high mosquito activity. Remove any standing water around your living space, as it can be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. If you are bitten by a mosquito, the bite site may become red and itchy. To relieve the itch, you can apply a topical cream or take an antihistamine.

In case of fever or any other symptoms, seek medical attention immediately, as it could be a sign of a more serious mosquito-borne illness. Overall, taking precautions to prevent mosquito bites can go a long way in protecting yourself from potential diseases.
