Ant

Ant

Ants are common insects found in Nepal's forests. While most ants are harmless, some can deliver painful bites or stings that can cause allergic reactions in some people. To avoid getting bitten or stung by ants, it is important to watch your step and avoid disturbing ant hills or nests. If you come across an ant nest or trail, keep a safe distance and avoid touching it.

If you do get bitten or stung by ants, the first step is to move away from the area to avoid further attacks. Wash the affected area with soap and water to reduce the risk of infection, and apply a cold compress or ice pack to reduce swelling and pain. Some local remedies for ant bites and stings include applying a paste of baking soda and water or rubbing the affected area with lemon or onion. Over-the-counter antihistamines and pain relievers may also provide relief.

If you experience severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat or tongue, or dizziness, seek medical attention immediately.
