The Greenish Himalayan Monkshood is a perennial herb with greenish-purple flowers, featuring prominent darker veins. The flowers, approximately 2.5-3 cm across, are often found in loose spike-like clusters, accompanied by bracts of varying sizes: small linear, small ovate, or large ovate, enveloping the lower part of the flower and fruit. The flowers have a rounded, hooded shape, broader than they are long. The leaves of this plant are ovate-heart-shaped to rounded. The Greenish Himalayan Monkshood is predominantly found in the Himalayas, spanning from Pakistan to Central Nepal, thriving at altitudes of 2400-4000 m. It blooms from August to September.
